A snippet from Palin’s speech at the RNC last night:
“While I was at it, I got rid of a few things in the Governor’s office I didn’t believe our citizens should have to pay for. That luxury jet was over the top.”
*Applause*
“I put it on Ebay.”

Last night was all about liberal-bashing and hate. And I suppose we all know that snooty liberal beltway types like Joe Biden exploit taxpayers in order to ensure they travel in luxury. So I get why drunk stockbrokers in Uncle Sam hats guffaw when she assures them she just didn’t need any luxury jet. But I don’t get the ebay line. It got a way better reaction – it was almost as though she made fun of inner city community organizers. Is ebay full of crap that only liberals would find cleaning out their basements? Or perhaps it’s funny because ebay is something they’re just vaguely aware of, having heard about in the liberal press – after all, Republicans don’t know how to use the intercom.
